Long-COVID rates in kids fell markedly from 3 month level to 2 years --study

Long-COVID rates in kids fell from 23% after 3 months to 7% after 2 years, data reveal Two factors were tied to increased risk of long COVID through 18 months: age 12 years or older and being infected with the original or Alpha strain. CIDRAP

A study today of 1,296 pediatric Italian COVID-19 patients who underwent multiple follow-ups over 2 years shows decreasing rates of long COVID over time. The study is published in eClinicalMedicine and is one of the longest studies conducted on kids with long COVID.
