Develop 34 Military Hospital – Pres. Tells CDS

The newly decorated Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Lieutenant General John Edson Milton on Thursday took the Oath of Allegiance with a task by President Ernest Bai Koroma , which is to develop 34 Military Hospital to an outstanding medical outfit in Africa.
At a ceremony held at State House, President Koroma said the CDF has taken over the control of the Army at the time “I can say the people of this country are pleased with the performance of the military recently and because of this transformation they have been able to perform very well in peacekeeping,”
He said the military performed also well during the ebola outbreak as they did excellently in the fight which the President described as exceptional; “as a nation we are proud of the performance of the military”.
President Koroma disclosed that the CDS came in at a time when they expect nothing else but the sustainability of the systems and that the men and women be motivated fully so that their [women] effort will be seen in the performance of the women.
