‘Sierra Leone is open to business’ – VSL manager

I’m just sort of getting people to understand that Sierra Leone is open for business and a lot of the stuff out there about Sierra Leone are inaccurate,” said the Managing Director of Visit Sierra Leone (VSL), Abimbola Carrol.
VSL on Tuesday ushered in 107 tourists from different nationalities on site seeing in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
The VSL MD explained that Sierra Leone “is a very misunderstood country and we’ve been sort of trying to get people to visit the country, because we believe that if people visit Sierra Leone whatever negative perception they previously had will dramatically change.”
